Having attended a sparkling night at the Eras last show in Los Angeles, we were wonderstruck by Taylor’s artistry, stamina, business savvy, constant evolution, generosity, and the public stance she has taken on key issues. What we experienced in LA was a heartfelt evening centered around connection and inclusion. To witness how Taylor wins with her vulnerability, keeps shattering industry records, and embodies both feminine energy and power, is nothing short of phenomenal! We want to celebrate her – and you – together in Paris where Le Grand Courtage all started.

Taylor Swift is only 33 years old and this year she has broken (shattered) so many records. Taylor now has 13 #1 albums with the re-release of 1989 last week, achieved Billionaire status and even in this past year held all 10 slots of the Billboard Hot 100. The debut of “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” marked the largest first-week album sales for any album since Adele released her 2015 album “25” and is so far the year’s top selling album, according to Billboard. Further, “Midnights” and the July release of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” round out the top-three-selling albums in 2023. AND…. Taylor is also Spotify’s most-streamed artist in a single day in Spotify’s history when “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” was released on October 27. Everything she touches turns to gold, but it is not without tremendous work and brilliance on her and her teams part. We raise a glass to Taylor, Tree Paine, her parents, and the amazing team that have created a phenomenal sight to behold.

Now it’s time for us to celebrate together, and we have something incredible planned! We’re giving away 2 tickets to see Taylor Swift in concert at the Paris Eras Tour, May 12, 2024. WHY PARIS?

Having lived in Paris, our owner and founder, Tawnya has spent a lot of time compiling resources and guides for visiting the City of Lights. Le Grand Courtâge was even born out of Tawnya’s love for the light, crisp, and refreshing French wine style! When the opportunity arose for us to give our fans, customers, and anyone else the chance to take a relaxing trip (and see Taylor Swift of course), Paris was the obvious choice. So why Paris? Vive La France, of course!

Getting Around

One of the most important things to keep in mind when exploring Paris is to wear comfortable shoes. The city is best explored on foot, and it’s easy to get lost in its winding streets. Don’t worry about remembering the names of the places you visit. Exploring until you get lost is part of the magic of visiting Paris. Your best bet will be to keep this article handy on your phone the whole time, because we’re about to give you a list of the best things to do in Paris, and how to find them.

What if I Don’t Speak French?

No problem! Nearly 60% of French residents are able to speak at least basic English, meaning sometimes all you need to do is ask around a bit, and you’re bound to find someone who can help you out.

If that’s not enough, here is a list of basic French phrases you can memorize to get things like directions, say hello, and of course, order a glass of wine!

Hello: Salut
A glass of wine: Un verre de vin
A coffee: Un café
Water: Eau
Do you speak English: Parlez-vous anglais?
I’m lost: Je suis perdu(e), adding an e if you identify as female.
I’m sorry: Je suis désolé(e)

Monuments, Museums, and Parks

If there is one thing Paris is known for, it’s for incredible architecture, art, and outdoor spaces. Here’s everything you need to know about seeing the best the City of Lights has to offer.

First, off, there are plenty of handy reference maps like this Paris monument map, this Paris museum map, and of course this Paris garden map.

From the Eiffel Tower and Louvre to Luxembourg Gardens, to famous art museums like Musée d’Orsay and the Centre Pompidou, you’ll be able to find whatever attraction you want to see most. Just keep this page bookmarked on your phone, and you’ll always have something fun planned!

Eras Tour Paris: The Venue

The concert is being held at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, a western suburb of Paris. With a seating capacity of 40,000, it’s a good-sized stadium, but not nearly as overwhelming as some of Taylor’s other recent venues like Lumen Field, which drew over 70,000 attendees.

The La Défense Arena has played host to the likes of The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Elton John, and Imagine Dragons, to name a few. So make sure you cross this venue off your destination list, because it has some rich history to it!

Here’s a handy guide to navigating the venue, as well as solutions for parking, ridesharing, and getting there on foot.

Are You Ready For It?

We sure are! If you’re looking for the perfect place to start planning for your trip, get insider knowledge of Paris and the venue, and of course get all the info you need to increase your chances of winning, you’ve found it. Add this guide to your list of references for your trip, and we guarantee you’ll get the best experience possible! Bonne chance to you all!
